how close is she?

I have a doe who is pregnant but I am unsure of how far along she is. I know she is close because I put hay in her cage and she made a nest but hasnt started to pull fur yet(she pulled fur late with first litter). I had her out earlier to clip her nails and I could feel the kits kicking inside her. So i was wondering if you could tell how close she is by them kicking or not? This is her second litter by the way.

most usually do a countdown from the day she was bred.

Problem is I am not sure what day she was bred exactly as I got her and she was already pregnant. Thats why im wondering if you can tell how close the are by kits kicking.

She should have them within the next two weeks, they don't usually start nesting until about day 27, but every doe is different.

You should have babies by now. Is everything ok?

everything is fine. she had 7 healthy babies this morning. 3 broken, 2 dark colored with dark bellies, and 2 dark colored with white bellies.:biggrin:
