I have a very picky rabbit when it comes to hays. I have a friend with a horse farm so I picked up some of the hay they cut and feed to their horses. I've heard this is fine, but just wanted to check to make sure it's okay before I give it to her. Thoughts? It's nice and fresh so I'm hoping it'll tempt her...

as long as it looks good, nice and green, smells good, isn't mouldy and has been kept dry. Feed it.
What do you think we feed our bunnys from the pet store? It all comes from the same place, just different farmers ;)

Thanks! Seems obvious but I just wanted to check because I'm not sure what strain of grass it is and I didn't know if there were any that were suitable for horses but not rabbits. Will give it a shot!

We fed our rabbits a horse quality coastal hay and have been for about 3+ years. Rabbits are doing fine on it
