Hiccups was born with a desease that even our savvy vet doesn't have any idea what could have caused it. we noticed that she's beating hard on her upper body. Honestly, I could feel her beating hard everywhere. we took her to the vet the moment I noticed her hiccup - ing. But because she's just 1 week old then. Vet doesn't do much. just told us that she may not live long. She's now 2 months and 5 days old. earlier this morning, I witnessed her having seizures. and breathing so hard. I thought she'll be leaving us already. I gave her metacam, to ease her pain without prescription. She was soo tired after her seizures, she just layed flat for 15 minutes, me by her side massaging her. Even at her weakest moment, I felt her purring. My hearts in soo much pain. then she miraculously stand up slowly. Grooming herself, still weak. I gave her pellets and water, she ate and drinks it all.
Honestly, I'm looking for a cure that doesn't involve an operation. I'm afraid that it might do more harm than good. I also don't want the idea of letting her go as she'll go when that time comes anyway. but I can feel her fighting. Now that she's a little bit older. I'm considering another visit to the vet. But because our vet is more of a canine savvy vet with knowledge about exotic pets. I have to know what are the diagnosis we should do in case our vet have no idea. (don't get me wrong, he's our 1 and only vet that did all neutering and spaying to my bunnies. but he's also not that perfect ). I would love to attach a video but would take time to do so.
