I just made my first post in housing, but wanted to intro myself.
My name is Patti. My husband and I bought Mila, a black Holland Lop, for Valentine's day and she is now 7 months old. She is our second bunny. Our first was Buttons, a Jersey Wooly. My husband bought me Buttons for my 18th birthday and he lived to be 10 years, 10 months and 8 days old. I was heartbroken when he died and it took me 2 years to be ready for a new bunny.
I was finally ready and I have my little Mila-monster now. She is very friendly and has never bitten me or anyone else, but she's not the cuddler Buttons was, this is taking some getting used to. She absolutely hates being picked up. Buttons I could pick up with one hand under his belly and "superman swoop" him with no reaction from him but a sigh. Mila has gotten to where she will let me pick her up, but she is extremely tense and I can rarely put her back down without getting scratched. This is my challenge...
Well, that's a little about me and Mila. I'll probably be posting more now that I've broken the ice.
