Help with Mini Rex baby color

I have my opinion on what colorI think this little fella is, I just wanted to check my opinion against others.
He is 3 weeks old to the day in the pic.Out of a red doe, broken black buck breeding. She wasbred when I got her.Thanks for any thoughts!

There are color crossing rules for mini rex for a reason.
You should never outcross a red to any other color except red and if you do it should be with castor,tort, or fawn.(For future reference)

From what I can tell, it looks like some shade of chocolate
(possibly lilac). Looks unshowable too.

I agree that it looks like a tort - but it appears that it may be an unshowable blue or chocolate tort. (Hard to tell from the photo)
