Help to pick a new hutch!

Im looking at new catches/hutches for my two guinea pigs and my one rabbit (possibly getting another, so lets say two bunnies).

They have a small verandah area where they can roam freely so the cage doors would be open.

But I still would like it big enough so that if we go away my parents can keep them in the cage big enough etc.

What about building a couple of NIC condos to go in the veranda? As long as the veranda is predator proof, and protected from the elements, an NIC condo would probably work well and be a lot less expensive.

I haven't seen those type of cages in Australia at all. And they live on the verandah which is fairly draughty so im afraid the guinea pigs and rabbit would get cold...

Is your verandah enclosed? Do you have a picture of your varandah to share?

The NIC cages are actually made out of storage cube panels. Here is a thread by Australian guinea pig owners on another site with some places where you could find them:

I would do the NICs if it were an enclosed, predator proof varandah.
