Does anyone have any suggestions how I can get him looking better for next weekend? If I brushed him everyday this week will it work?? Any other ideas??
Help...show next weekend and my bunny is in molt???

We have the same problem with two of our rabbits. You can try brushing every day and pulling dead hair, but there's a limit towhat you can do. Pull too much and he could look worse. It just takes time.

Try taking damp hands to help remove the dead hair...do it at least once a day. Some rabbits can blow through their coat in about a week, although most take longer.
Honestly, I wouldn't be too worried about it. Condition is only 10 pts on any standard, and more than likely, your rabbit won't be the only one in molt this time of year. At our last show, we were joking with the judge about the fact that there were no fur entries--"Fur, what fur? Nobody has any fur!"
