So I have a nice hutch for the bunbuns! I've been using Aspen shavings to cover the plywood bottom, I have aspen also in the litter box, I have a piece of tile in the corner and I'm getting a soft bed for each of them within a couple days. Would it be okay if I stopped putting Aspen bedding on the plywood and they can just be on the plywood? Is that safe? I think it will help them tell the litterbox from their normal cage space. So is plywood okay for rabbits feet? They don't chew on it.

Hi as far as I know plywood is ok. That's what Wilbur & Jackie had in their cage for many years. I had no problems with plywood.

Susan:)

As long as the wood isn't stained or chemically treated, it's fine. I've used plywood for building nest boxes and they got all chewed up (over the course of years) without any ill effects.
