Have you also noticed in what situation when your rabbit bites you. For example if it get startled, when you try to pet him when he dosen’t and so on.
Rabbits aren’t the easiest to read and learning to understand them take time. I have three rabbits and one of them easily get scared, figured out later he don’t have the best eye sight and also have no pet zone which would trigger him to bite.
But after winning a little of his trust, I can pet him, but I haven’t earned all his trust yet. I also learned the signals when it’s a great chance for him biting me if I don’t back off or take it slowly.
When you try to bond with your rabbit, just sit in the area and ignore your rabbit. But if you come longer than that and your rabbit have no problem coming up to you and jump on you. You can slowly pet and give treats.
I always have treats in my pockets when I handle the rabbit which always get scared. Which I give to him when he comes up and say hello to me, pet him or picking him up, depending on the situation.
You want your rabbit to connect to you with something positive and safe. ^^
