Hi, I need help with my bunny. Over last few days he developed patch of short hair on his back.
He's castrated and over past week shows signs of false pregnancy (making nest, being protective and agressive, digging). Otherwise he seems healty and happy, he's just as active as alway, he eats normaly and has healthy diet.
Could it be connecteed with false pregnancy and can it be harmful? Should I take him to doctor?

Thank you, I am lot calmer now.
Also my bunny is a male, but due to being castrated he's having false pregnancy. I talked about this with his vet last year and she confirmed this. It's odd how nature works at times.

Males also can have false pregnancy. Those patches could be like overgrooming or kind of molting, some rabbits look a bit strange while molting. Could be something else as well can you post some photo here? How old is he and how long is he with you? Is there any flaky or irritated skin on him?
