Hello from Michigan!

Hey everyone I am looking to get a bunny soon. Ive been looking at Holland and Mini Lops and have found two Mini's im interested in. I used to have what I believe was a rex when I was younger and have decided I want another one. I live in East Lansing, MI and im looking forward to meeting you all!

Welcome, fellow Michigander. Are you looking at rescues? I work with the Michigan Rabbit Rescue, and we don't have any lops right now, but there are so many bunnies without homes, maybe try looking on petfinder. I was looking on there and I felt so sad because there are sooo many buns looking for forever homes. Also, the Michigan Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary is a good place.

I volunteer at the Michigan Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary that Snowballbun speaks of and if you are interested I would be happy to tell you about some of the buns there C: I interact with them often so I know their personalities pretty well!

Yes, rescue is the way to go if possible.

I would agree that rescues are great, but ive found most look to charge a hefty fee depending on what type of animal. I have not looked at the bunny rescues unfortunately and have already found a mini lop that needed a home due to the family's circumstances. Thanks for the warm welcome!
