Hi all,
Our family is brand new to bunnies. We are in central Minnesota and expect to get some cold nights here yet this winter. Want to provide an environment that is close to what the bunnies are used to (breeder has them housed in her unheated concrete basement where you can just barely see your breath) Will be picking bunnies up tomorrow and want to know what size of bulb I should buy for a brooder heat lamp. Our small shed (5x5 6' tall) is made by Rubbermaid and presently uninsulated (will do this for next year). If a 150watt will keep it above freezing then it would cost half as much as running a 250watt...maybe 250 watts is not enough....just not sure. We plan to keep the three lionheads in here only until spring and again over next winter.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer here!
