Hi all,
Hoping to get some insight....new bunnies coming home in a couple days. We are in central Minnesota. The Lionheads are used to being kept in an unheated block basement. When we get them home they will be in their wire cages in a 5X5 by 6' tall Rubbermaid shed. We do not plan to insulate it for the remainder of the winter but will do so next year. I am concerned about the transition and planning to purchase a heat lamp fixture tomorrow, BUT not sure what wattage of bulb to get to keep this space warm enough. How warm should we try to keep them? It could still get well below freezing for several days at a time before winter gives way to spring.
