How to check the health of your bun,i assume i should do it every day !!.My boy is shy and just calming after being "done".Also not been with us long (4wks)

so he lets me check and clean his eyes just about lets me look at the top of his front feet.

does`nt seem to fussed if i gently pull his tail up quickly to check his botty is clean!

And lets me lift his lips to check his top teeth.

Apart from food and liquid intake and outake what is good to check /and to get him used to me checking?

 Thanks

I clean eye crusties every day. I only do a full check monthly when I do nails and scent glands. I look in the ears, look at the front teeth, check for poopy butt, look at the feet for sore hocks, feel around the face area for lumps or bumps. You can also weigh them and feel their bellies for bumps. My guys all get petted daily, which also lets me know if there are lumps or bumps on the back of their body and top of head.
