Hay Question

Hi All-

Normally I feed my bunnies Oat hay. They love it and do well on it. But, my feed store will not have any Oat hay until June or July. I had to settle for a "Forage Mix", but I don't know if this is any good for them. They are eating it, but not like they eat the Oat hay. Any suggestions or advice?

I'm not sure what "forage mix" is either, but I imagine it's Timothy, Oat and maybe Alphalfa or Orchard. It may say in the ingredients, or just call them up and ask.

Believe it or not, different hays are great for the teeth as different hays grind on the teeth differently and this is a good thing. So, if you can provide the safe hays that they need, you're doing well.
