hair or fur

i kissed my sweet loving rabbit-(raisin)-/he is shedding/my face and hands were wet/-yep my face and hands were covered in rabbit hair//,,i thought-hair,no-fur./.well i thought lets have a session on rabbit fur/hair-what do you think,,am i splitting hairs//i know i was spitting hairs-or- fur,,sincerely james waller

I'd say fur... Hair, IMO, has a different texture than a rabbits. I always call it fur anyway.

The words are often used interchangeably, but I consider hair to be of one consistent construction throughout (like human hair), and fur to be composed of various hairs such as thick outer coat guard hairs and soft insulating hairs underneath.Hair A+ Hair B= Fur.
