Just moved in with my husband this past year (2013) and decided to get a small furry in addition to our two dogs. I have only ever had mice, but my best friend growing up had Guinea Pigs and rabbits. I decided (with much convincing on my part) that we needed a rabbit.
We found her posted online, picked her up at 6 months old, and our adventure of owning a bunny began! She was a blue-eyed, white Lionhead/Holland Lop cross. She was taken to the vet to be sexed and treated for ear mites.
6 months later, back at the vet, we found out that "she" was actually a "he"! So, new name became Haigha, for the Mad March Hare in Alice's Adventures In Wonderland (the White Rabbit had no name).
My life is forever changed, and I definitely plan to continue to keep rabbits!
