Great (cheap) Rabbit treat mixture

My rabbits love this stuff! Its really good for conditioning their coats as well.

I got a bag of "HenScratch" from a feed company (Cargil) unfortunaly, it only comes in 50 pound bags here, but the mixture contains Barley, bits of cracked corn, oats, and a couple other things. I take a few scoops of that and mix add some Flax-seed balls, a teeny bit of Calf Manna, and a scoop of Blackoil sunflower seeds and the rabbits go crazy over that stuff!

It is high in fat, so I only give my rabbits a tablespoon a day (keep in mind, my rabbits are 12-15 pounds) But the mix is excellent for conditioning them for shows!!

I'm going to put this in the rabbitry only because unless a person was showing I don't think we would feed it

the rabbitry would benefit more from this info than the pet owners

So here we go with a transfer to the rabbitry...........
