So two of my buns (7 months and 2 years) are getting spayed tomorrow.
I'm so nervous! My babies!

I have a few questions about their care when they come home.

Should I be changing their little boxes several times a day until they heal? Should I keep them in their houses for a few days? Or should it be okay for them to have their out time (they get about 4 hours each per day) Should I feed them their salads, pellets, and such as normal? (Obviously all the hay they want)

Any suggestions and help would be oh so helpful!!

Thanks everyone!

Several times a day sounds a bit excessive. They should definitely be in a generally clean area to help keep their incision clean. I would decrease their exercise for a few days, in particular limit them from jumping up on things so if they have access to any shelves or anything like that, block them off.
Encourage them to eat their usual diet. Anesthesia can slow the gut down so getting them back to eating is important.
