If a rabbit is housed outside does it become acclimated to the weather so it doesn't get frostbitten? I know people who keep their bunnies outside all year and do not have a problem with frostbite. Someone bought one of my french lop rabbits. Mine are housed inside during the cold months. He has his hutches outside and her ears became frostbitten. Would it have happened whether or not she was an inside or outside bunny?

In my opinion yes. My friend raises rabbits and they have always been outside their whole lives. One or two will occasionally gets frostbite on its ears.
