FRENCH LOP BABIES.....

The babies are now nearly 2wks old and doing great. However I would like some help in identifying their colors please.

1) Treacle

2) Fudge

3) Jet

4) Sugar

5) Spice

6) Truffel

7) Flake

Sorry for all the pics but I wanted to get close ups of them all so you could see them well.

I'm probably not 100% correct, but I thought I'd take a guess!

First off, they are ADORABLE!!! They are so chunky and cute. And that lighter one's ear is already loppy! :inlove:



#1- Chestnut Agouti

#2- Blue Tort

#3- Black Silver Marten or Black Otter (is there any brown on it behind ears?)

#4- Shaded of some type- possible sable point or siamese sable

#5- Fawn

#6- Blue Silver Marten or Blue Otter

#7- Blue

I am not sure if those are the names the French Lops use for those colors, but I think so. It will be neat to see what they 'turn' into as they grow up!

Wow, cute. It will be easier to identify once they are older.

Clarzoo already guessed and I agree except: baby number 1 doesn't look Chestnut, and Baby 3 is a black otter and baby 6 is a blue otter. At least I think I am seeing the otter factor in the pics.

Like I said, it will be easier as they get older.

Here's my guesses

1) Looks like what we call a tort otter or "fox" in the US. (Not sure what you call them in the UK) -with both torts and otters in your litter, a "torted otter" is very likely.

2) tort

4) maybe blue tort ?

5) looks like what we call a cream or fawn in the US.

6) blue otter

6) blue
