NOW IS THAT TIME OF THE YEAR!

Have you ever heard of Mardi Gras? well here down south we have it. it is really fun. with all the parades and king cakes. it is so fun. i just hate the large crouds you know i hate that!

We don't celebrate up here, but Mardi Gras has a connection to the Catholic Faith.

We celebrate Fat Tuesday (the last day before Lent) and on Ash Wed we fast.

I was just looking at King Cakes at the market this weekend.....

I have actually been sewing my fingers to the bone doing several elaborate costumes for parade go-ers.

I am going for 3 nights next weekend, I was going to post some pics of the floats and goings on if anybodys interested.

yeah usally on ash wednesday we PIG OUT! my dads birthday is on Mardi Gras day so we are going to have a PARTY! fun fun fun!
