JUst curious as i learn more about breeding, questions come into my head, one of them is: I know rabbits are fussy about their mates, so if a female doesn't like a male, would she never accept him? And so a female and un-neutered male could live together without ever having babies?

In my experience, the time of year can have an impact as to whether a doe wants to mate or not.

We've had does attack a buck they don't like, but the same doe be very soppy with other rabbits.

So I wouldn't think that an unfixed buck and doe could live together and not have babies.

I'm sure someone will explain something more scientific, lol.

I would doubt it highly. At some point, either the buck would "convince" the doe, the buck would wear himself out so badly he could have a heart attack, or the doe would get so darn sick of the buck she would attack him.
