attila the bun is almost 4 months old. he is scheduled for a neuter on may 22. someone just suggested i might want to wait until he was older and more mature to have him snipped. i can't find any info anywhere saying i should wait, but i wanted to see what those more knowledgeable think!

I think Tiny was snipped when he was....four or five months old...not sure I remember exactly.

He did just fine.

Younger animals tend to rebound/heal faster and it may stop some behaviours from arising,
on the other side you may want to let them do a little more growing before you remove access to some key growing hormones in those bits.

I've honestly never seen a difference in clinic critters, especially for a larger bun, I cant see you having a problem.

I've always been told that if the testes have dropped then it is fine. I don't think it would be a problem.

Our vet said that if they are their, they can be removed.

My vet prefers to alter larger rabbits earlier. We had it done right at 5 months.
