Rabbits can get fleas and will get the same type of flea that cats and dogs get. As far as whether or not your rabbit will get them, that depends on your environment. If you have a lot of domestic or wild mammals that are in the same area, it's more likely.
Rabbits can be treated with some of the same flea preventatives we use for other species. Although none are labeled for rabbits in the US, both Revolution (selamectin) and Advantage (imidacloprid) are considered safe. Never use Frontline or any other product containing fipronil on a rabbit.
