Fergi's ears have something strange going on with them

So tonight was the weekly clip and examine.Fergi's ears for some time now have had a creamy yellow colored driedskin looking thing in them. Actually it is only in her one ear. It isscaly feeling and you can scrape it off and the skin underneath looksnormal. Anybody have any ideas of what it could be?

coud be mites, or bacterial earifection , yeast ,could bea wide host of things , i wouldsuggest having a vet look at itand scope it to be sure of whatit is .

Isn't flakey skin in the ear a sign of ear mites?Not sure though if it's only in one ear....bunnydadriff/sceriasis(spelling anyone?) maybe? Just a suggestion I hopeit's nothing serious!

I really can't think of what it could be.Poor girl. Do her ears seem to be bothering her at all? Yellow, that isreally throwing me. I'll see what I can't find.

Thanks guys. I wonder if it is just dry skin. Itdoesn't seem to bother her at all and if I pick at it she doesn't seemto be in any discomfort. Maybe I will give the vet a call to day andsee what they say.

You can rub a little vitamin E on it (break a capsule open) and let us know if that helps.

The vitamin E seems to be helping, I have managedto wipe some of the ickey skin off. Pam, how often should I put it onher? I did once yesterday and then again today.
