Hello all i am new to the forum. I appreciate all the helpful info. Does anyone feed Coastal hay? I have been using Timothy but it's hard to find in SC. They have a lot of Coastal hay available and the rabbits seem to like it, but no one at the feed stores can give me any info on it. Got some info from the web. I was hoping to find out nutrient content but it's minimal. Am i worried about nothing ? Thanks

I'm not familiar with coastal hay, but as long as it is a grass hay (not a legume) it should be fine. Timothy is just the most widely available grass hay so that's what many people feed but a lot of people do feed other grass hays (orchard, brome, etc.) and what's really ideal is to feed a mixture of hay varieties.
If your rabbits like it and eat it, that's what really matters. As long as they also have some pellets in their diet you should be good on the nutritional content front.
