Feeding an Angora

I adopted a Giant Angora for the Humane Society and will be picking him up on the 6th of January. I have read that they need more protien in their diet. What is the best way to do this? I feed Korr and Penny Oxbow BB/T and would want to feed the new guy that too. Should I also give an alflafla pellet? What ratio should I give? What veggies would be good to add protien? The hay I have is farm hay that is mostly timothy.

He will be a pet and I an not keeping him for his wool or for show, so I don't need to know about that aspect of them.
