Fecal Repellent

Our dogs REALLY like to eat our rabbit's droppings. I cured them of eating the rabbits' food, but they're not getting the idea with the stools.

Does anyone know if there's a bunny-safe product like Deter that will stop the dogs from eating the poop? If you don't know, deter makes a dog's feces taste terrible, so they won't eat them.

I know rabbits have to eat the loose stools they produce from their cecum to get their nutrients, so I don't know if there is anything I can give them that wouldn't also deter them from what they need to do.

Deter just works a lot faster and more effectively than training the dogs otherwise. But, I'll keep working on training them away from it just in case no one has any ideas.

Just have to be more vigilant with the dogs and try to clean up before they do.

I have to say, I don't have a problem with my dogs eating my bun's poop. It's basically reincarnated grass, right?

Yeah. It just bugs my sister. Says it gives her dog bad breath, so I thought I'd accomodate her.
