So last night, I was feeding the kids when I noticed one of my fake nails had fallen off. I have no idea where it went, but I have a sinking suspicion that Slippers might have eaten it. I tried to check his mouth, but he wasn't having it. He didn't seem in pain and even ate well as I could observe this morning. Has anything like this happened to anyone else? Should I be nervous even if he seemed fine? I have no proof he ate it, but he started to make a click sound with his teeth. That could possibly have been anger at me for bothering him at such an hour, though.

Generally bunnies don't like the taste of fake nails...they like to bite them off...but then that is the end of the fun!
I would assume you probably lost it elsewhere and just didn't notice! Most times they have trouble even biting through them...but I wear acrylics...so it depends on what type of nails and how hard they are!
