Tank's in labor!!!!!!! She's pulling fur andlooking freaked. I left her alone, I'll check on her quietly in an hourto make sure all the babies end up in the nest. She did fine last timethough.

I'm so excited!!!! Anyone know how long labor lasts usually?

Arrgh, Idon't wantto go to work today!

Makesure they aren't left on the wire and are in their nest. Ifthey're born on the wire, the mother won't take care of them unlessthey're in their nest.

Stage Two Labor, where they're actually pushing, should last less than an hour.

Will do. I'm leaving her for awhile because Idon't want to make her nervous. She's putting fur everywhere now--cageand nest. That's what she did last time, I don't know why. All thebabies were in the nest for the last litter though. She's got a clumpof fur in the nest so I assume she's going to give birth there.

I'll pop out there in half an hour.

Most rabbits kindle at day 31, although some maybegin pulling fur and making a nest weeks earlier. Once laborcommences, it happens rather quickly.
