There was a raid at a puppy mill in Wilson, NC. There were 239 dogs removed. Authorities also found 17 domestic rabbits that are in need of homes. If anyone is near the area and can help any of these rabbits....I can provide contact information and can assist with transport too. Willing to travelas far as MD or SC to place. Rescue is being handled by Wilson Co. Animal Control and Wake Co. SPCA. No word on breeds or condition of these rabbits as of yet.

Oh no... that's just aweful. I sure hope that all the dogs and rabbits are found in good health and are able to be placed with loving homes. No animal should have to live the life they surely have. Prayers for them all.

I can't adopt anymore animals, but I can help with transport. I'm not too far away (Charlotte), so if I can help let me know.
