Is there a blood test or other to determine if a sick or non sick rabbit has e Cuniculi in their sytem? I knwo once buns are exposed you ahve it for life.

If I may add our 9 month old Bandit has a bit of a head tilt so he is going in ASAP. I talked to the vet who was going to check and see as he was not real sure how accurate the test would be. He told us to bring him in for antibiotics and Panacur for E Cuniculi or an ear infection he woudl just treat them both if he thought they needed it.
There is a blood titer that can be done that gives you the antibody count. It would normally be repeated about 2 weeks later and if the count is higher then it indicates an active infection.
