is it wet or dry cat food. If it is dry...myrabbits get pieces of it sometimes and they are absolutly fine. I dontthink it will hurt, but try to keep it up a little higher...thats whathad to do..we even tried getting one of those metal things that holdthe car food bowls a couple of inches off the ground. Even that didntwork! Silly rabbits.

My Meat Bunny spent nearly a week at hergodmother's house between being rescued from the snake & beinggiven to me. In that time, Meat lived on carrots, iceburglettuce, & catfood. ;P

IOW, catfood isn't good for buns, & they shouldn't be allowedto have it, but it's not going to kill them if they sneak a few biteshere & there.

Eventually I plan to block off certain parts of our house so that Meatcan run around unescorted, but since she currently has easy access tocatfood, cat litter (she loves to eat the Swheat Scoop that we use forour cats), & electrical cords, Meat's only allowed out of hercage/pen while under *very* close supervision.

A friend of mine got a puppy and baby bunny atthe same time (many, many years ago). They were best friends, shared the dog house, a burrow and dog food!!??!! The dogpassed away and that silly rabbit will NOT eat pellets. Hewill only eat dog food. He is 8 years old and is in goodhealth for an old rabbit. So, my friend still buys dog food, even though she doesn't have one...well, I guess she kinda does :?

Not a reason for concern (unless he begins tomeow). It is best that rabbits not be given cat/dog food dueto the higher protein and carbs. Many dog/cat foods arecomprised primarily of corn.
