dry skin?

I was holding Ellie just now and I noticed the area that was shaved for the operation has huge chunks of dry skin around it. It would peel off if I tried(which Im not going to)
She is not bothered by it by I am worried.
Any Ideas what it could be?
I have an appointment with the vet for tomorrow(couldnt get one for today)
Any help would be much appreciated!!

That's odd. I haven't heard of that before. Maybe she's sensitive to whatever they used to clean her skin before surgery?

I thought it was weird too. The areas that the fur has grown backand only has a bit of dry skin but the rest has a lot. She is not bothered by it at all. I dont think its sore or itches as she still does her flops and is binkying like mad as they are both together!

I just hope it is nothing bad!
