What do you use on your NIC cages to keep the doors closed? I have a snap but it gaps the door about an inch and the bunny sticks her nose in the gap when she's angry at being kept in.

The top of the cage has a dowel rod to support the middle and then the entire front hinges open, but my cats hang out on the top so I need a way of keep it closed firmly so it doesn't collapse under their weight. I put a heavy blanket on the top of the cage to keep kitty paws from going through and to give the bunny some privacy.

Those black binder clip things make nice cage closures and won't allow it to gap.

I'm not really sure how you could make it more sturdy to hold your cats up without changing the design. Hopefully someone else will have an idea.

The cats can actually both sleep on it :Xwithout it collapsing but it just gives about an inch because I am using carabiners.
