Does this mean my bun is molting?

Umm. I think my bun is molting, maybe? He looks funny.

He's a Dutch bunny, so he doesn't have very long fur.

I noticed a couple days ago that he has this... really plushy, dark, shiny, velvety place on his nose. The first half of his nose, in fact, and it's also seemingly longer there than the rest of his face-fur. And from half his nose back, well... it's like his normally shiny black fur has just gotten... dull, muted black? Does this make sense?

I can always post a picture tomorrow... but does this sound like molting/shedding/winter coat coming in? Cause... it's kind of odd. To me, anyways.

It does sound like it could be molting. Often one of the more obvious places is when you can see the line move up their face.
