Discharge from eye?

My rabbit has a milky discharge from his eye. I got him last winter and he had milky discharge coming from his eye also. I am thinking that his eye leaks discharge every winter. But when it starts to get warmer in the summer it stops. Last winter I had to but antibiotics and wipe his eye constantly and he lost his fur on that spot of his eye. Why does this happen in the winter?

Have you asked your vet about it? Maybe it has to do with the cold weather stressing his body more and making him more susceptible to infection.
