The definition is: The head marking on the Dutch cavy.
But i can't find it in the Standard.
Does anyone know what it is called?
Thanks
Emily
ETA: I'm thinking it's Blaze. Does anyone else agree?
BlueSkyAcresRabbitry wrote:I don't know but I wish we had something like 4-H here, sounds fun!

I just put Blaze for the answer.
But now I'm stuck on another q.
"Rabbits fall under what biological order?" Is that like scientific classification? All i found for that was Lagomorph, and I know there's more to it than that. I couldn't find any thing in my rabbit book, so I looked on google and that's where I found Lagomorph.

The easy way to remember the classification system is to remember "King Phillip Came Over For Good Soup" - Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species. Looks like everyone's got your back.
And yes - the head marking is a "blaze".
Generally, in 4-H they are looking for the answer "lagomorph", but some competitive areas do get more technical.
