Clover came to us in 2000. He had been raised in a good home, but the children were all grown & gone, their mother had terminal cancer & felt she wasn't up to taking care of Clover or their dog anymore. Her husband brought Clover up but wouldn't take him out of the car until he checked us out. Once he saw the sanctuary he had no hesitations. He even shipped us a couple of fence/pens later, at his own cost.a week later. He was the only rabbit we were able to keep once the sanctuary closed. He never had a partner, as he was a real "people bunny". He loved attention, being petted & gave unlimited kisses in return. When we brought Joy in he was a little snippy but soon accepted her. He went to the Rainbow Bridge Nov. 2007 & is sorely missed.
