chestnuts?

ok, so i had a litter of 7 french lops 12 days ago. 2 are black 2 are chestnuts and 3 are broken chestnuts. but one of the kits has me stuck. it IS a chestnut. but i am not sure what kind? it looks so much more different then the other chestnuts in the litter. i am thinking he is chocolate chestnut?

he is the bigger one on top compared to his much smaller broken chestnut sibling.

They just look like two different colored chestnuts to me. Chocolate chestnuts aren't dark, they're lighter.

so you think he is just a lighter colored chestnut?

That would be my guess at this age. Chestnuts vary a lot in color, but both look to be regular black-based.

the black ear lacing is the giveaway that it is black based.
