I'm wondering if anyone has a rabbit who changes sleeping habits, in terms of how/where it sleeps?

My one bun, Emma, always slept in her Cuddle-E Cup starting around 12 pm each day; and she would flop on her side.

For the past week, she's been sleeping outside of her cage, usually with her legs tucked under her body; so she's not been flopping on her side.

I understand that bunnies in pain are said to sit in a hunched position and grind their teeth; but is it possible that a change in a bun's sleeping habits could indicate discomfort? Or is it more likely that Emma's just made a change (for now)?

Thanks,

Jenk

Could it be that she is feeling more confident and is exploring other options?

Anything is possible, I suppose--although she's always been a fairly bold bunny. But she's not been sitting in a hunched position and/or grinding her teeth. But I still find it odd that the bunny who always flopped/curled on her side (like a little shrimp) in her bed now reclines in the Sphynx post.
