Cataracts??

I think my rabbit might have cataracts. He is very old and recently, a milky-white film has been developing in both his eyes. Can rabbits have cataracts like people, and what can we do about it?

Yes they can, but I don't think much can be done about it. At least not at a reasonable cost. Rabbits adapt very well to loosing their sight. The main thing is to keep the environment as consistant as possible so they don't run into things.
 
A rabbit's sense of small and hearing are acute, so they do help. Also, they are not totally blind unless they really have a horrendous case. Think they can be lasered, but doubt if there is anyone on this continent that does it for bunnies.
