I'm new here, and came across this forum while looking for information on cancer in rabbits. I couldn't find out much about the cancer my Netherland Dwarf has - Multiple Myeloma. It turns out that it is because this cancer is extremely rare and possibly unique to my bun, although it has been diagnosed in other pets. We stumbled upon it because the proteins thickened her blood enough enough to cause a small stroke and she started exhibiting signs of head tilt. If anyone has any experiences to share about chemo, or cancer in rabbits (particularly blood cancers), I would love to hear it. I have started a blog on our experiences because of the trouble I had finding information. I can post the link, but am unsure of the policies regarding posting links to other websites.
My bun is doi ng ok, and we are hoping the treatments will help prevent further strokes/heartattacks/blindness.
