Can you get a sable martin from a siamese sable and a sable pt?

What about a siamese smoke pearl from a sable pt and a tort?

Im trying to figure out if this pedigree they gave me is correct...

Then her whole pedigree is messed up...I dont even know if any of it is true. And shes registered too.....GAH!

It could actually be a mis-identification of colors. The "sable point" could actually be a tan pattern sable point, which could account for a marten being produced.

Registrars are NOT required to be fluent in genetics, so this wouldn't necessarily preclude a rabbit from being registered.

Ahhh, ok. Im just going to go through them all with my "genetic specialist friend" and have her help me figure this out. Thanks everyone!

This is the one that was marked black in the peds but apparently cannot be soI guess shes seal.:

Is her belly shaded slightly lighter? A black can't be produced out of two shadeds, assuming the parents are indeed 2 shadeds. If they are, the rabbit has to be a seal. Bred to a REW, you should get some correctly coloredsiamese sables.

I will breed her to my REW buck after this litter and we shall see what we get. Thanks for the tip Pam. I will check her belly in a bit.
