Thanks; we've been mixing oats, hay and calf manna w/show feed all along and they're still not gaining.
I do want to know about buttermilk!! It works for other animals, I know. Rabbit's digestion is delicate, though, so I wanted to put this out there for feedback.

Personally I wouldn't feed dairy products to a weaned rabbit. I can't imagine any healthy way for a rabbit to gain 3 pounds in a week. If they're significantly smaller than you would expect for their breed, maybe it's time for a vet check to rule out any problems.

Are you using the French Lops as a meat breed or do you have another?
I hope its not the polish lol

For my meat pen we had californians. They had to be 70 days by show time and couldn't be over 5lbs. The babies were in the pen with their mother up until show time and were all free fed twice a day. Mine were 4.11-4.13 lbs

We didnt use calf manna just free fed pellets and gave hay once every couple of days.
