My coworker recently informed me that her close friend is leaving the province and needs to rehome her pet dwarf rabbit. She knows that I've recently ventured into breeding meat rabbits and asked if I knew anyone that could take it, or if I could myself. I told her that if her friend was in a bind I could house the rabbit on my property after she moves, until I find it a good home. The question I have though is, would a dwarf rabbit be okay staying in an outdoor hutch? I live just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia, so the weather is pretty nice and I'm sure it would be okay (if my kits can survive outside, it can too right?)

Could anyone give me some insight?

Any rabbit can live outside in the right conditions.
As long as they are sheltered from the elements and from predators
And they have a big enough living space and they can get exercise.
