I am a member of this forum but have been lurking for ever :)

I don't have any bunnies yet but plan to get one soon

I am considering a holland lop from windswept rabbitry in Monson mass and I like the fact she keeps her bunnies indoors.

I was wondering if this cage would work for a holland if I removed the shelving http://providence.craigslist.org/pet/3101305714.html. It would be like this one minus the lights and floor .

Hi,

Congratulations. I think you will have a wonderful experience with a Holland. Don't have one, but know those who raise them and many on here have them.

I tried to look at the crate, but unfortunately it's not coming up so really can't comment. Mine are 41 inchers. They are all very comfortable in their crates. Plus I let them out to get to get exercise inside and outside in their bunny run.

Welcome! Love holland lops. So adorable!

Can't see the link either......

It is my experience that 99% of store bought cages are much to small for rabbits.

Have you looked into puppy Xpen or nic cages? Both are very economical and a much better choice.
