I know you can get pet rabbits in Singapore (been there, saw them as apartment pets), if that helps.

I guess if money's not a limitation you could get a lop somewhere else and fly back home with it as carry-on baggage. People do this with small dogs and cats. I wouldn't fly a bunny in cargo!

You will have to deal with animal export/import regulations and maybe quarantine.
