Bunny Sailors

I have three bunnies and I am in the process of finding a boat to do some traveling. I lived aboard for about ten years but I didn't have any rabbits then and I never encountered anyone who had rabbits aboard. I posed this question on a cruising forum and a member posted a picture of his one-time neighbor who had a Flemish Giant but he had no information other than the picture. I wonder if anyone here has any experience with bunny sailors.

I have seen boats with a netting around the sides to keep dogs from falling over. I would think the same would work for rabbits but you would have to inspect for chewing on a regular basis. Please let us know how it goes!
